How to Cut: Step-by-Step
1.....Prepare the Fabric: Fold your fabric in half. Start by marking the total length of 55 cm (21.7 in) from the top edge.
2......Mark the Neckline: From the top corner, measure 4 cm (1.6 in) for the width and 10 cm (3.9 in) for the depth. Draw a smooth curve for the neckline.
3.......Shoulder & Armhole: Measure 12 cm (4.7 in) for the shoulder. Apply a 3 cm (1.2 in) slant. From that point, measure down 20 cm (7.9 in) for the armhole depth and curve it outward.
4.......Body Width: Mark the chest width at 25 cm (9.8 in). Add the 5 cm (2.0 in) extension as shown in the diagram to allow for a comfortable, relaxed fit.
5.......Bottom Hem: At the very bottom, measure 25 cm (9.8 in) across. To give the shirt a better shape, mark 2 cm (0.8 in) upward at the outer corner and draw a slight curve toward the center.
6.......Final Cut: Carefully cut along your marked lines, leaving a small margin for seam allowance.
